WTS further expands its Transfer Pricing team. On 1 November 2016, the consulting group added to its ranks, Oliver Wanger as Director of Transfer Pricing in Munich and Melanie Appuhn-Schneider as a Senior Manager in Düsseldorf.
As of 1 October 2016, WTS gains Kay Masorsky as a new partner in Hamburg, thus further expanding the corporate customs consulting field. The 54-year-old arrived from KPMG and is a leading customs expert in Europe.
WTS gains Dr Oliver Trautmann as a new partner. The 49-year-old auditor and qualified tax advisor switched to the Frankfurt office on 1 June 2016. His consulting work focuses on the areas of corporate tax law, M&A and restructuring, as well as tax proceedings.
Permanent establishments are increasingly becoming a significant tax risk factor for international companies. This was a conclusion of a recent study* by consulting group WTS, carried out in a total of 62 countries. The main risk drivers are the OECD Action Plan on Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) and the resulting scrutiny of permanent establishment-related topics by tax authorities.
